    Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Academy students visited Pearl Technologies in Savannah

    Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Academy students from Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC) visited Pearl Technologies on January 20, 2017. From 9:30 am until 11:10, the 23 students were introduced to the world of manufacturing and engineering.  The students were split into teams and rotated between three stations - shop floor, R&D, and corporate. The shop floor tour was given by Nik Green, Sr. R & D Manufacturing Engineer.  Nik walked the students around Pearl's welding and fabrication, machine shop, assembly, inventory and QC areas.  Students

    Savannah, NY - At the end of another successful year, Pearl Technologies added on one more goal before the start of 2017--to give back to the community. In partnership with the Finger Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross, Pearl participated in their 2016 Holiday Heroes Toy Drive.  Through this initiative, Pearl's employees donated new, unwrapped items, including toys and clothing, throughout the months of October, November, and December.  These items would then be given to children between the ages of infant through 17.   "The holidays are a time o

    We would like to update you on Pearl’s plans for K Show 2016 in October at Dusseldorf, Germany.  We were not able to secure a booth this year, however, we will have staff present and walking the show from October 20th to 25th.     Pearl Technologies introduced seven new products for blown film processors at the show. A new Blue Slat is designed to provide lower friction for blown (and cast) film extrusion. It’s for collapsing frames, gusset boards, turning bars, and Pearl’s roller-less retrofit series to replace spreader rolls, idler rolls and cage-arm rollers.
